Bhaderwah is gifted with superb locations like the Sonbain glacier at an altitude of around 8,000 feet where snow stays put for the whole year. Nearest rail head Jammu, 200 kilometers away.

By Road
The 200 kilometer journey is broken in four parts. One can either reach directly to Bhaderwah or take stoppages in between as follows:
1. Jammu to Udhampur – 65 kms, OR Jammu to Udhampur (By train) – 50 kms
2. Udhampur to Batote – 55 km
3. Batote – Pul Doda – 50 kms
4. Pul Doda – Bhaderwah – 30 kms
