A rocky slope, just 300 meters from the bus stand where gusty winds naturally blow all day. Admiring the unobstructed view of the entire valley one can easily walk down. This one spot is flocked by tourists visiting here.
Probably the only tree with a name and is over 150 years old. This Eucalyptus tree which was planted in 1859 by the erstwhile collector Mr Horsley can even be seen from the plains below. It has grown to a height of 45 meters and the girth is around 5 meters.
This monsoon fed lake is just under 3 km from the Bus Station, on the Horsley - Madanapalle road. This lake is surrounded by large vegetation of Eucalyptus trees giving a cool look. Tourists can easily spend a few hours and not know about it.
Dedicated to Godly Spirit, the Mallamma Temple is the only ancient one there. Located just a few hundred meters from the Bus Stand it helps people remember the little girl who cured the tribal folks. One day she disappeared and people built this hoping her spirit will still help everyone out.
