It is just over an hour drive from Jammu, around 65 kms away. You have all sorts of boats including inflated boats, paddle boats and big boats for the family. The charges for paddle boats are quite reasonable, Rs 200 for an hour.
The hilly areas, the presence of holy temples, the greenery make the place a serene and beautiful. When tourists are in Jammu for any reason, missing out boating in Mansar Lake would be a foolish mistake.
