Depending on the flow of water, like still flowing or rapid gushing, the level of Kayaking can be decided. River Ganges river has rapids which have been categorized into different grades according to the difficulty level. They have been classified as Grade I (simplest, slightly moving water) to Grade VI (utmost disturbed waters).

Though Kayaking needs minimal resources, adventurer can choose a grade according to their physical stamina and age. It is better to go through the drill and understand the nuances of this sport. Because once you are within the rapids, you are on your own and then can only depend on your skills to complete the event successfully.

Kayaking Essentials to Carry
This is the only water sport which needs minimal equipment. You only need basics like the kayak boat, a paddle and a life jacket. For carrying some additional essentials, you need waterproof bags.

Kayaking Tips for Adventurers
The most dangerous that can happen is your kayak capsizing. When in still waters this will happen rarely but there is definite possibility when facing rapids. Always choose the section where you are comfortable and never venture into serious rapids of which you have no experience.

Compared to getting out of tilted boat or raft, it is indeed very difficult to get out of the kayak once it capsizes. The adventurer should know what needs to be done and for this very reason, it is recommended to opt for a two seater Kayak, and your companion is an experienced campaigner.
